What is a digital greeting card or QR keepsake?
It is a collection of personal messages, photos, voice notes, and videos in one digital keepsake. Share it as an online greeting card by sending the link, or print its QR code for a paper card, gift, framed photo, or memory box. It opens immediately in a browser, with no app needed.
Can friends and family add their own messages?
Yes. Free and Premium include up to two invited collaborators; Collaborative includes up to 25 contributor places in total. People invited by email sign in to contribute. A paid Collaborative keepsake also lets you create a separate guestbook invitation, so guests can add memories without an account or seeing anyone else’s contributions. Guest and invited contributions share the same contributor limit. You choose a collection window of 1 to 30 days from creation.
Does the recipient need an account or an app?
No. The recipient can open the link or scan the QR code in a modern browser without signing in. An internet connection is needed. Anyone you share the viewing link or QR with can open and forward it, so share it with care.
Can I add the QR code to a real greeting card?
Yes. Every keepsake includes a printable QR code. Place it inside a greeting card, beside a framed photograph, on a memory box, or with a gift. The code opens the online keepsake; it does not store your media on the paper. Scan the printed code before giving it to someone.
Can I schedule the card to open on a future date?
QR keepsakes open immediately and have no scheduled lock. You can prepare one and share its link when you are ready. Choose a digital time capsule instead if you want visitors to see a future reveal date before the memories open.
Are my messages private?
Keepsakes are private by default and are not listed publicly unless you choose public visibility. The viewing link or QR grants access to the keepsake and can be forwarded. Contributor invitations are separate from the link used to view the gift.
How long does my digital greeting card stay online?
Free keepsakes are hosted for 14 days from creation and are scheduled for deletion unless upgraded before the deadline. Premium and Collaborative are one-time purchases for ongoing hosting under the current service, with no recurring subscription. Hosting depends on the service continuing to operate; keep your own copies of irreplaceable photos and recordings.
