Before you put it in the envelope
- Use actual size or 100% scale in the print dialog. Choose Save as PDF if you want a reusable file.
- Cut around the outer dotted border. Leave the white space around the QR intact; do not put stickers or handwriting over it.
- Scan the final paper copy on a second phone, signed out of your account. Confirm the destination and whether it opens now or shows a future reveal.
- For a future capsule, replace the scanning instruction with the intended opening date. Keep a copy of the letter, original media, and printed destination elsewhere.
