How to Create Your Perfect Digital Time Capsule
Follow these simple steps to preserve your memories for the future.
First, create an account. Navigate to ‘My Capsules’ and click ‘Create’ to start the process.
You’ll now be presented with the first page to capture basic details about the capsule, including its name, unlock date, category, and the private text content within.
On the next page, you can upload images and audio into your capsule. You can record your voice with your phone or computer microphone, or upload pre-recorded audio clips.
Choose capsule visibility: public (for anyone post-unlock) or private (restricted to chosen individuals). Set your displayed owner name (full name or username). Add up to 10 contacts with their email addresses. They'll be notified at creation and upon unlock.
Preview the capsule with a dedicated button, toggling between locked and unlocked views. Note liking and commenting functionality. After creation, share via an access code or QR code. This adds a unique touch to celebratory cards or messages.
You can also gift a capsule – buy an empty capsule for someone to fill. Share a gift code or have it emailed automatically. This is great for milestones, a child's future hopes, or a surprise message from a grandparent.

Yes, you can. When creating or editing your capsule, you have a choice. Select "private" to restrict access only to people you invite, or "public" to make it available for a larger audience.
Absolutely. You can specify which users are allowed to view your capsule. You can add email addresses both during capsule creation and later via the edit option. Once the capsule unlocks, those users will be notified automatically.
Sharing is simple. After creating your capsule, you'll receive a unique access code. Provide this code to anyone you’d like to have viewing access. They can use the code on our shared capsules page.
When your capsule unlocks, its content is revealed. If you've shared it with others, an email notification will be sent to them so they can view the capsule.
